Not sure what to call it, but it is something to carry info on your blood type, allergies and things like diabetes to be there if you are knocked down or just plainly collapse in that **** hill and need reviving.

Like mine would say - I am blood A-, if I am not conscious, hold me gently and pour Irish coffee in my mouth.

What do you carry to inform your saviors to be on what they need to know? I started to put my driving license with my cell phone (on the handle bar) to at least say who I am and where do I live.

If you have drug allergies or diabetes you should probably have a medic-alert bracelet, although if you have drug allergies, you need to check with an allergist to see if the allergy still applies. For example I was tested in the early 1970's and found allergic to penicillin, however the type of penicillin I am allergic to hasn't been used in the over 20 years, because just about everything is resistant to it now, so it's pretty much useless.

I always carry my wallet in a zipper pocket in a pannier, because my jerseys are running jerseys and don't have the back pocket. You never know when you could need ID or some dennari, I am also one of the 6 people left on earth who doesn't have a cell phone......

Road ID Dogtag with allergies, blood type and contacts.

Also, ICE listings in my cellphone address book.

I wear a Road ID with my name, phone, blood type, Blue Cross #, and "No Allergies." This should be sufficient for emergency folks to start treatment even if I'm unconscious. The phone # should get my spouse involved promptly, and the insurance info should forestall any questions on payment. I also keep ICE listings in my cell phone, but if the accident was bad enough to make me unconscious, there's at least some chance that the cell phone was damaged also. I consider the Road ID to be cheap and effective insurance.

I have my wallet in my bag for various reasons. I also have my cell in a pouch on my stem. The first three numbers in the address book are .ICE 1, .ICE 2, and .ICE 3. Placing the <dot> in front gets them to show up as the first 3 numbers when you go to the address book. ICE 1 is my home phone, ICE 2 is my wife, and ICE 3 is my son.

RoadID, and on any organized rides I fill out all the "rider info" on the back of the bib number.

Wallet and Cell w/ ICE are in a ziploc in my bag. I have no medical allergies, so that is not an issue. My medical insurance card is in my wallet. I like those Road IDs though. I might have to get one of them.

Small wallet in my seat bag. For ID/ICE I scanned my drivers license and laminated it. On the back I have Emergency contact info. Also have ICE numbers in my cell.

The RoadID dog tag style is on my to do list.

That is a GENIUS idea. I had never thought about that. I just made the appropriate changes and I will be sure the little woman does it to her phone as soon as I get home.
Thanks for a great tip!:thumb:
