Hey it is time again for CAM! That awesome time of the year where 500+ cycling enthusiasts gather for a 4 days cycling event in Maryland. This year we are in north/central Maryland at Mt. St. Mary's College with the 20th year celebration being sponsored by OneLessCar.org and several other perennial groups. Who is heading out that way and feel free to share you fondest memories over the years? It should be an awesome time for all! This will be my 3rd year...and I'd not miss it for anything!

I only did CAM once, way back in 1995, back when it really was Cycle Across Maryland. Started in Oakland (basically as far west as you can get) and ended in Baltimore. What I remember most is the second day's ride, from Frostburg to Hancock. We (the riders) were told that there were going to be three big climbs that day. To this day, I'd like to know which ones they counted, because everybody I spoke to counted five big climbs that day. In fact, on the official tour video there's a guy riding uphill and he looks into the camera and says "well, this is the fifth of three today, so I'm thinking we must be getting near the end". :)

Lot of good memories from that ride... Glad to see that it still continues.

I'll be there. First time and first multi-day event. Really looking forward to it.
