I ordered some Avid Single Digit 7 brakes from PricePoint a few hours ago. I went to go track my order online, and the status is "contact customer service" and it said that there was a problem with my order. I called them and explained my problem, but they just said that everything was ok, but he was not too sure. I really need these brakes to ship today, as I need them for Saturday. Have any of you all had this problem before? And should I call again just to be sure?

Thanks in advance!

Called again and got some robot guy that says everything scripted!!!

"Why does my order status say there is something wrong?"
"There is nothing wrong with your order."
"But why does it say that there is?"
"Sir, there is nothing wrong with your order."
"Then why didn't it ship today? The past rep said that it would definitely ship today."
"It will ship tommorow."
"Bye"

Arrrgggghhhhh!!!!!!!!! I hate scripted cutomer support!!!!!!!!!! Or when they say that it will definitely ship today, and it does not because of some error that the scripted customer support cannot explain! This is why I ordered from PricePoint, because the last time I ordered I had a a great expereience with them, and that it wouls ship today. Guess I'll be going with only a front brake on Sat. or Sun. (going on a group ride)

Actually, I ordered at 4:15 EST. I just posted here at after 7 PM. Over in California, it was only 1:15, and the rep said it would definitely ship today, so that's why I am upset. Maybe somehow UPS will get a 2-day air all the way accross the US before 7AM Friday.  (7AM is whwn all the UPS trucks leave the warehouse.)

I feel your pain, but that would be the least of my problems :(

There are new trucking laws that have affected delivary times.

I wouldn’t worry. It’s Internet, who knows. Just a program mistake somewhere. If you spoke to costumer service and they said it’s ok then it probably is…

If it shipped today you can't expect UPS to deliver a 2 day air by 7AM on Friday should of had them upgrade to overnight. The guarantee for 2 day is by 5:00pm on the second day.

Edit: And today doesn't count.

There are new trucking laws that have affected delivary times.

That doesn't affect air packages they don't long haul them, they fly them. Even if you send an overnight across town it still makes a flight to there distribution center than back to the delivery cities.
