This time, on a stone-resistant tube. I'm in an area where the texas longhorns grow, so what would be the best type of bike tube. And what's the average life expectancy. I keep on the streets and sidewalks for the most part.

What type/size of tire/tube? Road riding or off-road?

Tried tire liners?

off a roadmaster 26 men's mountain bike . And it looks like the valve fell off or broke off (it looks like it fell off).

Buy better-quality tubes (valves are not supposed to fall off).

If you've lost a valve stem - take care when you remove the pump after inflating. Some pumps grab that stem tight and can damage it if you have to handle roughly to remove it. I've messed up a couple stems doing that with the floor pump I have at home.

be sure to check the valve hole in the rim. it might need to be deburred. if you're tire is rotating on the rim because of underinflation or because the bead doesn't seat well, that'll do it.

Thanks. We'll see. I 'upgraded' from one bought at a local bike store to one slimed on the inside at Walmart ($6) so let's see. The other one is going fine so far, nothing to complain about on that one.
