Believer: Gas prices mandate UFO disclosure
Joey Bunch, The Denver Post
A Denver ballot initiative to prepare for the arrival of extraterrestrials will get a lift from a national spokesman on the issue Wednesday night on the Auraria campus.
Steven M. Greer, founder and director of The Disclosure Project, said that with gas at record prices, it's time for the government to tell what it knows about alien propulsion. "In light of the growing energy and environmental crisis, it is imperative that the people of the United States know the truth and work to see that full disclosure occurs as soon as possible," Greer said in a statement.
Greer claims to have interviewed more than 500 government, military, intelligence and corporate witnesses to the existence of extraterrestrials. Greer will speak at 7:30 p.m. at Turnhalle in the Tivoli in the Student Union Building on Auraria Parkway south of the Pepsi Center. Admission is $5.
Jeff Peckman, who is heading the ballot initiative to create the Extraterrestrial Affairs Commission, will discuss the petition effort.
