Mountain Biking - I want this bike.

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I'm jealous.

Odd, theres a rotor on the front, but as it appears, no lever or caliper...

ya-ya-YA! Man-gives me some ideas for modifying my ride-
is the chain oversized?- any info on that would interest me.
I have a sweet Mavic rear with (groan) 7 on it. The cost of going 8 or 9 is not smart as it's an older frame.
Chould I chuck my granny and replace the big ring front with a bash guard?
Or...have any of you run single derailers-f or rear?
I shift almost exclusively rear though that's the one I'd pick to lose.
I'm getting all excited..I will make my queries under a new post better formulated later.

Not sure about the chain. Yes, you could trash the big ring in front in favor of a bash guard. It's a common thing to run one gear in the front and derailler in the back. Or just trash the derailler completely and go singlespeed.

Half-pipe material... Useless around my neck o' the woods. Maybe urban assaults would be nice though.
That's what it's for! All it would need would be some knobbies and it would be trail worthy.
