Today was the first TT stage. Our first real insight to who's going to contend in the world's biggest bike race.

And the TDF Forum has 1/10th the participation of the road bike forum. And is losing out to Advocacy and Safety, and in a dead heat with Electric bikes.

I'm probably going to miss my evening ride 'cuse I'm sitting here reading the TDF forum.

Just saying.

Botto keeps weeding out the idiotic posts. Otherwise this forum would have a huge lead.

I didn't get to see much off the TT today, however what I did watch I enjoyed. It is interesting to me to watch how the riders pick their lines and I like the TT machines. I thought Samuel Dumoulin had an interesting TT position on the bars.

Haven't gotten to the DVR yet. I have to wait for the 3 day weekend to catch up on my Tour watching. I do keep up with the results which some would say is ruining it, but I don't care.....I can't wait until Friday to find out what's going on.

The mountain stages will bring more traffic if we can keep the bullying down. Give the noobs a break. If the thread title looks stupid, don't harass them just move on....I do that everyday in the road forum.

You sound like me Michael. I have been known to watch the morning coverage, and then watch parts of the same coverage again in the evening. My husband is full of wise cracks about this type of behavior, but I have learned to ignore him and continue my yelling at the TV.

the beginning flat stages are a bit boring for me. i'm waiting till things heat up in the mountains around thursday i believe, and the rider times start to widen.

because responses would require actually discussing the race, racers, equipment choices, strategy, and implications of the results. as opposed to discussing commercials, asking why teams arent there, asking if mirrors would be a good idea, and complaining about the announcers ... and wow, have the beginning flat stages ever been boring:rolleyes:
