If you are looking for a really sweet cycling jersey that will show off your Clydesdale credentials and want to contribute to a great cause at the same time, you've got to check out www.fatcyclist.com. If you aren't familiar with this site, it is an award winning blog written by a guy who is an avid cyclist (mountain, road, and singlespeed), who happens to be a Clydesdale. His wife, Susan, is suffering from breast cancer and they are having a very rough go of it. They have three kids. For the last few years, he's teamed up with Twin Six to produce a kick butt jersey, the profits of which help pay for Susan's care. Each year the jerseys sell out in a day or two. This year they are taking pre-orders (next week, July 14 - 20) at the Twin Six website and the jersey's will be delivered in November. Check out the jerseys...trust me, you'll want one. I have no affiliation with the Fat Cyclist (Fatty, as we like to call him) or Twin Six. I just read the blog religiously and really feel for their situation.

They are nice. I wish they would offer more color selections.

I was lucky enough to get one of the orange jersey's from their last batch. The jersey's sold out quick! It's now my favorite jersey. The fit is good (although the sleeves are a little tighter for me) and I love to tell people the story behind the jersey.

I have been following Fatty and Susan's struggle for quite sometime myself. I am most definately getting the new jersey design that fatty has just released.

All of the profits from the sell of these jerey's go towards Susans cancer treatment.

yeah i've been drooling over Twin Six designs since i ran into thier site.. I want the Fatty jersey but.... i'm still to big, it would fit to tight... :(

Someone (The Historian, I think) linked to last year's jersey. I really wanted one, but, as they said in the entry, they sold out very quickly. Looks like this year is my chance to get one. :)

The new orange one looks great! I had no idea they would sell out that quickly, I would've hopped on it quicker. I could've sworn last year's pink one didn't sell that quickly and stuck around a bit.
