is it normal for the hose on a bike pump to get really hot? and start spewing water? i use a compressor to get my tires to 90 psi and then i go the last 20 with a hand pump, and recently the pumps hose has been heating up and spitting water. i dont get it.

It's just due to condensation, nothing out of the ordinary.

compressed air can get very hot. i made a firestarter last year in machine tools that would start a fire from compressioning air on some tinder.

You call yourself a BMX god, but yet you have no clue about anything. Most BMX tyres are rated at 70psi and above.

30?! you're asking for a pinch flat. that must feel like you are riding on sponges. i would never, EVER run my tires under 65 psi.

depends on the tire... the stock diamondback tires that i had were rated at only 35 psi, so he might have his stockers still, ya feel?
