Just as I typed in another thread that they weren't here the FedX dude delivered.
The counts are all correct this time!
I am packaging tonight and will ship Wednesday AM
Remember, part of the deal is that you must post your photo, in the jersey, in this thread!

THAT'S SWEET!
I'm guessing that being relatively new this was all set up a long time ago and I missed the boat. But if a large happens to go unclaimed I'd be in for the cost.

For the benefit of the new, yes, it was all done in advance. People sent money and I ordered. It's been so long some will be surprised when they come. (about 6 weekes from teh end order date, 2 months for early order folks) Heck, it's been so long some likely don't ride any more....
Great I'll be through with my CF buildup and can cristen the first ride with my new jersey!! Lp

Was this the 3rd time you coordinated a bulk order for these jerseys?

Yep. Third time. I could joke that i just can't learn, but really, it goes more smoothly each time. And I just love the ego boost of seeing people in a jersey I designed.
This time i ordered a wind vest for myself, and for my wife. I also ordered a jacket for myself. Tricia said she didn't want one.
When the box arrived and I showed her my jacket she said "Why didn't I get a jacket?"
So there may well be at least one more order in my future. :D
For us new guys,
What was/is the cost? If you order for your wife could you add in tee shirts for the new "people"?

Yippy. Thanks Curtis.:thumb: Technically, I won't able to wear it yet since I won't turn 50 till December. :o
BTW, it was nice meeting you and Trisha at the wheelsucker ride on Sunday. :)

Well, thank you Siu. :)
I am actually 52 if I go by the old Chinese tradition of adding a year when you're born, a year for the heaven and a year for the earth. My brothers and I still don't know exactly how old our mother is. :innocent::eek:

The jerseys are in the mail.
I'd stuffed the envelopes and went to the PO to get those flat rate envelope stamps. Whoops. They don't have any. The PO person had to run every envelope and create a stamp from her machine.
I'd better figure out how to buy those stamps online.
So, report arrival, and don't forget to post photos.
BTW, I like the jacket!

Talk about efficiency! You should do this for a living! :thumb:
I am also interested unless you also have over 60 shirts. How much are they and where do we send our orders?

DETAILS
The Over 50 jersey was something I designed here almost as a joke. But people liked the idea, and with a bit of input I finished the design.
I'm not a biz guy. I had people send me $$ via Paypal in advance. (Jerseys were $60)
I then had one made for everyone, and now am mailing them out.
There seems to be interest, so I'm thinking to do another round when I get back from riding Seattle to Portland. As long as we hit a minimum of 11 we'll be OK.
Who is that young kid in the photo? ;)
We'll order in the next round. Hubby said the other day that he'd like the looser fit rather than the racing fit he has now -- it's hard for him to pull a snug-fitting jersey over head with his artificial shoulder. Otherwise, we love the shirts. I'm very interested in the vest or jacket. Curt, if you or Trisha had to pick just one of them, which one would you choose?

Vest vs. Jacket... Humm, I'll report after Seattle to Portland. I'm taking the whole 50+ kit (I guess that's 150 total...)

Super news Curtis, made my week here. These jerseys are our 32nd anniversary presents to each other. I figured end of this month at best. This close to 2 July is so cool. Cannot wait to post up pics of us.
Thanks again for undertaking the task. If you are doing another order soon I am in for a vest and a jacket and what ever Monica wants.

Woohoo! If the post is quick I might be able to wear it this Saturday on the One Helluva Ride in MI. Or certainly on the Holland Hundred the next week.
(I just hope changing my order to a small club cut wasn't a mistake)

Because I opened the box and got to work. I did try on my stuff, but haven't had a chance to wear it (vest and jacket) on a ride. It was 107 yesterday.

Curtis,
Got my Jerseys today in Oakton, VA. I ordered a bit small, they will be a great inspiration to keep on my diet, 30 pounds to a great fit.

I got my rain vest and I'm glad it's a 2XL. It should fit nicely when I drop the last 20 lbs but is a bit tight around the pits.
Thanks.

Curtis,
Thanks for the jersey and jacket! Maybe if I work as hard on the bike as you did on the jersey order I can drop a few pounds.
Thanks again for all your hard work.

BTW Curtis, I didn't notice on the original picture that you posted, the phrase on the back of the collar "Dulcius ex asperis". Nice touch, and it goes along with my Scottish heritage nicely too. :thumb:
Here's another one:

This must be one sharp lookin' jersey - I actually had a full-kit roadie hang back and talk with me for a while on my ride today. This never happened before when riding in my "generic" no-logo jerseys.
Then he dropped me!
As some one new to this forum let me say they are a great looking design. Well done.

Mine arrived today thanks. I'll post a pic as soon as I can figure out how to do that.
My first jersey was pretty tight, but this one, an XXL, is perfect. Glad I ordered one size larger for the jacket too, cause that fits perfect.
Thanks, Curtis!

Guess it depends on how you like a wind jacket to fit. Having had some team stuff from this mfg. before I find a large jacket or vest fits perfect to not flap around but still have room even though I need an XL jersey.

No pics yet; I'll take some next week. But I gave the jersey a good tryout on the One Helluva Ride (MI) metric century (63mi) route. I was worried that it's too small -- it fits a bit tighter than I'm used to and I was trying to resist buyer's remorse -- but it didn't bind or ride up or bust any seams. And it was even comfortable wet after going thru a brief heavy thundershower. I basically forgot it was on. So it'll be in heavy jersey rotation for sure. However, with my new desk job adding some extra "contouring" to my physique it looks a tad overstuffed. ;)
Alas, no comments (about the jersey, not the bod) along the ride.
I'll wear it on the Holland Hundred next Saturday and Mrs. will be there to take a pic at the start.
New Specialized shallow drop/short reach handlebars and stem worked out great too.

Yep, but now it starts in Chelsea. Not all routes went through Hell - the metric didn't. This was my first time on it. Pretty ride.

Completely forgot to grab mine this morning! I guess having that flat was the shirt's payback.
Bit snugger in the hips than I usually prefer, but I can live with it. (How come working it off takes longer than snacking it on?)
