hello late nite foo ppl of NYC..

does anyone have any suggestion for how to kill a couple hours after hours in NYC? .. I missed the last bus in Chinatown by like a hour.. and so I'm making my way uptown looking for something to do until the morning. Right now it's a little after 1 am - and everything is closed. Yes, everything is closed, the streets are empty... I even wasted almost an hour in the subway waiting to catch a 6 train uptown - and all that ever came was some construction train carrying a bunch of rails and stuff to fix the tracks. The subway stops running in NYC (?) ..

srsly:wtf:

I'm bored.. and I'm in NYC. This isn't supposed to happen? :D -?

So far I've made my way uptown to the WTC site, and I've finally found a place that's open - the McD's on Lafayette st (btw..their coffee tastes like burnt charcoal-filtered water, don't come here). ..

Anyways... as I mentioned, I'm headed uptown looking for ways to kill a couple hours until daybreak. oh, yeah.. and I'm on a beggars budget - so I'm afraid nite-clubs with dbl-digit cover charges are out of the question. :P

So, anyone have ideas? If so they will be much appreciated  .. (I'll be checking back at the next available opportunity).

Have a friend that works at the double-digit nightclub get you in for free.

Well, unless you have a hard time making friends. In that case, get a job that pays well and do what you want.

wow.. thanks a lot guys. -?

don't worry tho.. I've somehow managed to entertain myself without your help. I'm going to be in the papers... that guy in the ski mask who has climbed about ten stories up the side of the NYT blding in Times square and who hung the banner and stuck the red flyers to windows - the ones that read; "bush = bin laden'' below a picture of El Che.. dood, that's me! .. (no, srsly) ...

No.. actually I was one of the ones gathered below taunting him. :D ... hey, dood's gotta come down sooner or later - one way, or another.. pls ppl - let us all pray for a happy landing. :popcorn

There's plenty to do late night in NYC for a budget on a week day. Try hopping into any bar in the village, I'm sure you can kill a few hours nursing a beer until 4am-ish.
