Purely a subjective opinion since I use both saddlebags and a Chrome mess bag.

Set up the fixed with a rack, saddle bag and all my 'winter' lights. Took it out for a spin and I like it even more than I did before! Been using a mess bag and its just too hot for summer. Found an old rack I had stashed and Voila'! New bike!
Anyway, months ago I took my cyclo'puter off since it was sucking some of the fun out of riding since I was focusing on miles and not the ride. Apologies to all the people on the Milage thread. I signed up for it and just haven't been putting miles down and not tracking them since the first theft of computer. If estimates will work, I can do that but I'm quite happy without tracking hard numbers.

My commute just got a lot more fun again...!

Keep forgetting to take pics. Maybe one of these days I'll remember? Hopefully before the snow flies again?:innocent:

Oh yeah! I finally fit a pair of pants I bought six months ago in anticipation! WooHoo! Since August of last year I've gone from a waist of 46" at 336-ish to a waist of a true 40" at 276. WEight was lower but the fixed bike made me gain a lot of meat in thighs and hinney---in a good way for once!

okay, thats all...

Take care everyone!!
