Do they have the Slipstream kit there?

I've only been to the outlet in Aurora once, about 3 months ago. I don't remember seeing any team-kit stuff there. They had tons of running and cycling clothing, but most in just plain solid colors. There was a section of more 'outgoing' jersies hanging on the wall, but I didn't pay a lot of attention to them.

Might make a phone call before making the drive, unless you're going anyway.

I was there a couple of weeks ago and I saw the jersey but I don't remember seeing the bibs. I believe it was on the wall :)

On a related question, what are the prices like there? Is it an actual outlet store with good prices, or is one of the "outlet" stores where its really just a regular store with slightly reduced prices?

The wife/family make it down to the Schaumberg area a few times a year to shop and I've always thought about driving the extra distance to go down there, but hesitate because of the uncertainty.

^^^^ is there really any such thing as an "Outlet" store these days?

the prices are not great. in fact, pretty much MSRP. they do run sales, especially when clearing out old gear. when shopping for PI stuff Performance normally has better prices.

on the plus side the store actually has stuff in stock, unlike Performance. they carry the entire line of PI stuff from cycling, running, to hiking. the staff is very knowledgable of their product and friendly.

all this PI talk reminds me i need some Slipstream socks.

later.

I was wondering about there pricing too. I usually buy my stuff at performance when it is on sale. A surprise for me was to find a my shorts on sale at REI for a better price than I ever found at Performance. I also bought my shoes at REI they were $35 cheaper than Performance. You have to buy it at the odd times of the year or when they are trying to clear there stock out. I never would have really thought of REI as a place to buy bike stuff.

I wasn't super-impressed with the prices. Anything on clearance was super-discounted though.
