Does anybody know of a way to take a course I rode from my Garmin Edge (or uploaded to garminconnect.com) and get turn by turn directions? I did a bike event last year and would like to drive the route to check a few things out.

I know there are options of exporting the route as .gpx, .hst. or .crs but I'm not sure if that allows me to import the route somewhere where I can print out directions.

Thanks,
Steve

I've never done it in that direction before (I always create the course online and download the turn by turn directions course into my Edge 305), but try bikeroutetoaster.com. If you can upload a course then it can probably re-export it with the directions.

I'll give bikeroutetoaster a try. So far I have tried mapmyride & bikely and they both appear to work the same way. There you have to enter in comments at each turn that then becomes your cue sheet.

I was hoping that if I could get the ride into Google I could create it from there by using this method someone posted over in the Road Bike forums where you use a bookmark and Google creates the cue sheet for you.

If bikeroutetoaster doesn't work I'll give Google Earth a try as well.
