What a pleasant surprise as I decided to take a ride down to the Embarcadero this morning to get some photos of the intense sunrises we’ve been having due to the fires. I just finished some shots of the Bay Bridge when I ran into of all people…Ruth! Marco’s Sidekick! She was commuting to work on the folder Alan had let her use. She was just kicking butt on that thing! I rode with her the rest of the way to Pier 39 to work. Those folders ride really fast and smooth. She looked very comfortable on it seemed to enjoy herself on it.
Any way a nice way to start the day.

We are riding the folders to make sure we are used to them for Europe/Trains/Alpe d'Huez/etc...

Heh, that's funny. Every time I look up and see a dull, orange disk in place of the sun, the same song pops into my head.
