I have been looking at the new Specialized Transition TT bike for a Tri bike and took notice yesterday when the Gerolsteiner guys were clearly not on the 08 version. Is this an older version? or a totally different builder just painted as Specialized?

Cant load the pic from Velonews, but here is a link

Many riders ride custom built frames for certain disciplines, for example Andy Walser makes damn fine TT bikes that many people use, painted up to look like their sponsor's bike.

Not sure about Gerolsteiner, but there was an interview on Versus before the TT stage with Stijn DEVOLDER of QuickStep where he pointed out the features of his Specialized Transition.

QuickStep is riding Transitions and Gerolsteiner is riding Walsers. Confirmed via other sources.
