So... went for a nice, leisurely ride with a couple of acquaintances and right about the turn around point my rear derailleur folded in half. :(
I'll be busting my butt finding a replacement tomorrow.
On the plus side, I've most likely got all my bike problems out of the way for the next year... 6 flats and a ruined rear derailleur in the past week. :notamused:

Shouldn't be a problem finding one in Denver, at least if it is Shimano. You will probably pay full price though.

Picked an Alivio rear derailleur up at Cycle Analyst for $30. :)
Then, after replacing that part, I make a quick trip to the bank and the Profile 'Universal Computer Mount' that my computer and headlight are mounted to snaps off, leaving my light and computer bouncing off my front tire. :(
Cheap part, but... geeze... am I cursed?
That's 6 flats, 1 blown tire, 1 rear derailleur, 1 cable housing, and now this computer mount.... *shakes his head*

I think you have gremlins, or is it tommyknockers who break things?

Time for a new bike.
Have a great TBP, BMC... :)

Tankerbelle made it through the ride just fine... I, however, suffered a bit. But I suppose that's to be expected. ;)
It was a great day for a ride... you couldn't really ask for much better weather... not too hot OR too cold, and no rain... Could have made do with just a little less wind in places (Or better yet, more strategically placed winds so we could have a tailwind when needed! :D )
