My wife is doing a great job of losing weight, but is still wide in the hips. She's been searching for a new biking jersey, but can't find one that fits a larger woman in a flattering way. Her current jerseys are by the mail order film Junonia, but their recent catalogs don't have any biking clothing.

Any recommendations?

A great source for female clothing is Terry (see terrybicycles.com). They have a full line of Plus Size clothing plus they carry jerseys (their "Touring" jersey) that don't have elastic at the waist and cut alittle fuller which works great for "hippy" woman. And I love their designs each year. This is fairly late in their season but things should be or going on sale soon.

PS: Love Terry cycling shorts as well!

Thank you both for the info. They both seem to carry some of the same lines of clothing. My wife ordered two jerseys right away from the Aerotech site, and was thrilled to learn about it.

www.teamestrogen.com also carries plus sizes.

Just a word about Team Estrogen (I order from then regularly) - their PLUS clothing (except for the Terry and Mt. Borah) products tend to run really small.

Mt. Borah is also a good place for PLUS clothing. I noticed that the Jerseys sold on Aerotech are from Terry and Mt Borah. I noticed the Terry products are cheaper on the Aero website. I might order from
them as well!

Yes - but I bought a great Pink Mt Borah jersey from the Team Estrogen site...
75803 I think this is a 2XL as I am an Athena...(though this is a flattering picture, if I do say so...)

I love the idea of Terry, but their Plus selection isn't all that spectacular, and I'm just not a pink kind of girl. Or a fan of swirlies or any of those other designs. The selection of solid colors is less than impressive.

What about the pink, "Clyde" jersey that Fatty (fatcyclist.com) is pre-ordering:

I often wonder how many women would want to wear a jersey that says Fat Cyclist
