Maybe we could make this a sticky?

Tonight I finally found a replacement for my Trek 7.2FX (that was too small).

http://www.fujibikes.com/2007/bikes.asp?id=278&subcat=

Yeah, it's 54cm bike that I got, with the "fixin's" for about $450.

So what if I'm 345 lbs? The rims and the frame are strong, I just have to keep an eye out on the fork (stupid carbon).

Finally a bike that is the right size and it's nice on the knees. In addition to this, the LBS (Performance Bike ~ not so just LBS), said that I should ride the heck out of it for 29 days, to see if I like it, if not, bring it back for a full credit (according to the manager) on a new bike.

Hope I don't busitcate it or myself on my dainty 8-10mi commute/day. It does fit like a glove and rides like butter on a hot skillet!

Nice bike! But I'd be more worried about the wheels than the cf fork.

They are actually non-stock. They are 32h, double-butted stainless 700x25c (not alexrims).

Nice looking bike there, looks like you'll be sitting fairly upright on it too so it should be quite comfortable. If you find you do most your riding on the hoods you'll love the shifters with the thumb tabs.

Be sure to let us know how she rides.

After 5 miles to work today, best ride so far. Much much better than the 17.5" Trek 7.2FX I was riding previously.

I have the same bike only its an 2008 model. I have had it since March and love it. I am 250 lbs. and have had no issues with the rims or the fork. My first thing I did to it was to get rid of the adjustable stem. I put on grip tape that felt good to me and some clipless pedals and have ridden the heck out of it. You should enjoy your new ride. Have fun!!!!

Yeah, the first things I did were a new seat post, put my Time ATAC's on it and put a trans-it rack on it.
