4-Pack ftw.

Or This:
Specialized Fuse 3 $200

Matte black
cane creek head
truvativ cranks
gyro brake
maxxis hookworm tires (110 psi)

I am a bike mechanic who takes VERY good care of his bikes. this one was bought as a convenient way to get me to class and no longer serves my needs.

it has never been beat on and has always been babied.
Zero frame damage, never had so much as a pair of pegs mounted!

FuzzyRyder
07-11-08, 02:58 PM
screw that run something high psi.

07-11-08, 04:41 PM
I would go with the Eastern Element. I don't like DK bike's at all, i had a 4 pack like as my first bmx, i hated it.

FuzzyRyder
07-11-08, 04:51 PM
you are dumb.

Street rider
07-11-08, 06:41 PM
dude the ringworms are 110 psi.

FuzzyRyder
07-11-08, 06:53 PM
well thats news to me, must have updated them in the last few years cause i remember having a set that were only 65 psi, either way the suck.

Street rider
07-11-08, 08:47 PM
naw dude. i like em. theyre pretty grippy for street tires. and theyre kinda light. and pretty solid.

minichamp31
07-11-08, 09:00 PM
I can't stand more than like 55 PSI in my tires anyhow.

Punx
07-11-08, 10:01 PM
FuzzyRyder. Why do you have to be a dick. I was just stating my opinion.

FuzzyRyder
07-11-08, 10:33 PM
cause eastern sucks ball you should know that.

FuzzyRyder
07-11-08, 10:34 PM
I can't stand more than like 55 PSI in my tires anyhow.

you'll roll alot faster with higher psi in your tires, just be smooth and flow and it shouldnt bother you.

minichamp31
07-11-08, 10:35 PM
That would work if I was always smooth and could flow all the time. The thing is, I mess up a lot. And I like my wrists how they are.

FuzzyRyder
07-11-08, 10:36 PM
your wrists will survive! be a man!

minichamp31
07-11-08, 10:40 PM
They might, but I ride how I'm comfortable. I'm in my "learn how to jump stage" too, so that doesn't help any.

Mini Ive been riding at about 70-80psi try that... not bad on your wrists espically with the new bars you just got... switching to new bars and running higher psi made my wrists feel much better and me being 205lbs on lower psi i messed up my fair share of rims... I think i talked him in to the 4 pack. Thanks for the help i think he is getting it for $200... Meanwhile i have a buyer lined up for the eastern for $275

having a higher psi will also reduce your risk of pinchflats. im actually thinking of getting some 120 psi tires. not a whole big difference, but its just even more solid.

minichamp31
07-12-08, 09:38 AM
I think my Tioga Comp III is only rated for like 55 PSI anyhow. And my Intense Haalo is rated up to 125 PSI. I would neverrrr run that much.

Street rider
07-12-08, 10:08 AM
do it. run it at 125. rock solid baby.

MadMan2k
07-12-08, 11:38 AM
High PSI makes my bike feel like crap, every little bump makes it rattle and it's a lot harder to manual.

FuzzyRyder
07-12-08, 01:42 PM
its not harder to manual your just not use to how much faster you roll causing you to have trouble balancing the front end.

MadMan2k
07-12-08, 01:55 PM
which makes it harder to manual.

FuzzyRyder
07-12-08, 02:03 PM
No, its just not what you are used too, If you learned to manual with high psi you'd have no issues. If anything its easier because there is less resistance for you to balance against to keep the front end up, and it allows you to manual quicker, and longer without losing speed.

Street rider
07-12-08, 05:42 PM
yea i always used to run a low psi. learned how to manual, then got high psi tires. made it a lot easier to manual long distances.

ascend
07-12-08, 07:13 PM
i also used to run a low psi, now i run 85 (my tyres are rated 85-110). it's not so stupidly hard that the bike rattles around over every bump but it's way more responsive. i don't think i'll go much higher though.

minichamp31
07-13-08, 11:07 AM
do it. run it at 125. rock solid baby.

Yeah right. I hate a lot of PSI.

Street rider
07-13-08, 11:15 AM
at least go 110. rolls good, feels good. and if you weigh more than 130 lbs, then it should have a little give in it, which is just about perfect.

minichamp31
07-13-08, 01:53 PM
I weigh like 115 lbs. So there would be absolutely no give in it.

Street rider
07-13-08, 07:10 PM
then go like 105
