Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - KMC K710 or K710SL

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
What is better for a road fixed application? Is the lighter version any weaker. As far as I can tell there is a 63 gram difference in weight, does that justify the $6 dollar price difference?

its only 6 dollars...
but honestly if imo if you work on your bike a lot i wouldnt recommend the k710sl. i have both chains but the k710 is sold and beefy. the k710sl imo its only fault is the hallow pins. i ran mine without the masterlink. and the chain tool seems to mushroom out the pin and leaves a slight bind since the link isnt as smooth as the rest of the links.
but its jus a chain imo the z chain or izumi standard chains do the job the same
710SL, just get silver, the colors aren't worth the extra price.

The $6 dollar price difference I was listing was for the silver sl. Anyone think the non sl looks cooler with the silver on black?
