Been bothered by a "click" down in my LeMond's BB lately.
Well, you can take the boy out of the shop but you can't take the shop out of the boy.
Bought me some new Park Tools this week.
Tightened up the pedals and BB lockrings today AND got my new long sleeved 50+ jersey (Thanks Curtis!)
It's been so brutally warm on the coast this week -and I got long sleeves?- but today the weather cooperated and the fog came back.
Well, that's all I needed. Found an old "do-rag" I forgot I had, too". Ugh... look at that gut :(

Here are a couple of the lovely Mrs S on the Bay Trail last weekend.
Same place I was at the week before only now the smoke has cleared enough that you can actually see something.

Hey. I just got here! I don't have a 50+ jersey. So I'll post my UC Santa Cruz Bicycle Team jersey I just got after trying for three years.

I didn't buy one. So now I'm lame? Bite me, dude.;) I do have one with a giraffe on it, but no pictures of me in it.

Curtis asked for photos.

I bet no one wants to see the Soap Box Derby T shirts that I usually wear. That's right, shirts. I've got 8 of em, almost identical, same local derby, different years. :thumb:

SKT, calling us lame is pretty impatient.

I'll bet that there are others who got their jersey, but may be waiting for the weekend or a big ride photo op. Hopefully they will chime in. Be patient.

Hey, man... my comment was intended to be tongue-in-cheek... no need to call me out, dude

And, please pardon my enthusiasm. Curtis asked for photos, I had the opportunity and was excited to share. Won't make that mistake again. Sheesh.

I took it as intended...no problem

Nice looking jersey. Are the long sleeve the same material as the short? Hopefully Curtis will do another run next year when I'll be official.

HEY! I'm happy! Thanks for posting.
There is special magic nanotube stuff in the jerseys that bursts into flame if you fail to post a photo, so YOU are now safe. every one else.... we'll see.

I appreciate your enthusiasm.

Sorry I took your words at their face value. Maybe I shouldn't do that again. ;)

I'm assuming that the large body of water in the background of some your pics is the Pacific Ocean. This tells me that you are considerably closer to the shipping point for the 50+ jersey than I am.;)

That being said, I am optimistic that my jersey might be in the Midwest this weekend. I'll do my best to get photos up shortly after that. I need to master the photo posting routine, though. There is added pressure now that I know about the exploding nanotube thing.

P.S. Now that I'm home, I find that my hopes for a Friday delivery have been crushed.

Hey, SKT. I was in your neck of the woods the other day. My niece is boarding a horse in Linda Mar, and her mother (my sister) and I stopped by to say hello to her and the horse.

We got ours last year, with the first order, and they still serve us well. Every time we wear them we get comments, because they're such an exclusive item. I may be up for a vest next time.

Well, hey, you sure were! Shamrock Ranch, no doubt?
Down at the southern end of town, I'm up at the other end, at the bottom of the drop down Highway 1
(guess you see now what I climb up to get out of town).
The ride to Linda Mar is what I do for lunch 2 or 4 times a week.
Shane I didn't know, I could've ridden down to say "howdy!"

Nope, it was a place I had no idea existed, in a narrow valley behind a huge newly artificially-grassed football field off of Everglades Drive. Kind of looks like a shanty town for horses.

Oh! I think I know where that is... past the Terra Nova and left at the stop sign at the top of the hill?
I've seen the entrance many times but didn't know anything was really there.

It seems most people are posting their pics in the "50+ jerseys are here" thread. :D

But if you insist I can do it here as well. :thumb:

Still haven't received mine. And I'm just two states away from California (post source). Reading enviously about guys in the Midwest getting theirs.

Ah, well, patience is a virtue.

Mine got here (Chicago area) on Saturday, the 12th. Now to get the photo done before the flaming nanotube technology takes over!:innocent:
