I think its good to plan ahead. I heard people sell out of the Nokian studded tires if you wait too long. And I am working on an order from Lou at Foxwear (http://foxwear.net/) for some winter clothes. He told me he appreciates getting in touch before winter (since I'm assuming a lot of his business is done in fall/winter).
