Hola Amigos de Bici,

I wanted to share this info with folks new to bike touring. My name is Tad Beckwith. I am not a professional bike mechanic and I have never ridden over 100 miles in a day... but I have spent 26 months traveling through 20 countries (US to Panama, Ecuador - Argentina, New Zealand, Australia, Bali, Japan, China,
Nepal, India) on a bike. And I won't bore you with never-ending ride
stories you don't want to hear. But I'm offering a free teleclass to get your started on your bike touring dreams.

PLANNING A LONG DISTANCE RIDE: FIVE TIPS TO HELP YOU GET PEDALIN'

In this 50 minute, free tele-seminar you will:

·Discover some of the "Bibles" of long-distance touring, so that you learn from the

hard-knocks of thousands of touring cyclists before you dive in.

·Learn how to ask for lodging without offending the locals.

·Find out how to pack your bike to keep it stable when loaded so you ride safe and can easily access the essentials.

.Learn how to get the inside scoop on a region long before your ride through it so that you feel prepared and hit the "secret" spots.

PLAN YOUR TRIP DURING CLASS

Come with a trip in mind, whether a weekend getaway or a round-the-world journey because towards the end of class a volunteer student will be our "guinea pig pedaler" and get Coach Tad's coaching and feedback from the group. This experience often leads to applicable lessons for every participant.

Sorry, but isn't this a pitch to try to sell your services. Isn't this against the policies of this forum???

Shouldn't this be under the "Shameless Self-Promotions" catagory?

Maybe a Mod could move it so it can be found by those seeking this kind of service.

what an a-hole! I see he is also ripping off Adventure Cyclist magazine by promoting his E-zine of the same name.
