Ok. Bear with me...I spent the last 8 years using a Gary Fisher MTB, and in that time had only one puncture...
It was stolen a couple of weeks ago, and I have replaced it with a Planet X Uncle John with a straight bar.

The bike was a bargain, so came as was, with 23mm road tyres.
I have ordered some 32mm Continental twister cyclo cross tyres...

Okay daft question... Is it essential I get some new 32mm innertubes, or can I just stick the new tyres on...
I am guessing I need new tubes...

(I am also guessing that I can expect far more punctures?)

That big of a change, you'd probably want new tubes and I'm not certain the rims will be right for the job either. Depends on what you got.

I'm not sure what you mean by expecting more punctures? Just because the tyre's are wider? Not necessarily, I think. Especially if you put liners in this time around. ;)

Ah, ok. The rims are Planet X 32h.

I meant more punctures on this bike than my MTB ;)... As I said, I only had 1 in 8 years on that, and never had to change a tube...;)
