No 1 - The Snafu Poo Preventer

Do you like Poo? Horse Poo? Sheep Poo? Rabbit Poo?
No? Me neither. Especially when it gets all over my bike. Fed up of digging excrement out of my front dérailleur, I came up with the Poo Preventer. Works like a charm!
You'll need:
one (1) 500ml plastic drink bottle.
a pair of scissors
a couple of zip ties
a two-hole paper punch.
Instructions: (remember to get an adult to help you)
1) Discard the lid, and the contents, then cut the top off the plastic bottle, just below the neck.
2) Cut the bottle in half from the top to the bottom.
3) Shape one of the halves into a flap-type thing to cover your derailleur pivots like a wee fender.
4) Using the hole punch, punch two holes in the plastic 'fender' and thread a zip tie through it.
5) Attach to bike.
You may need a couple of goes at this to get the shape right, but a bit of patience pays dividends. If you're clever you can make a wrap-around fender that will keep a lot of poo out of your front cog-swapper pivots.
