Hi everyone. I'm pretty new to this community, but I was hoping for some help or support. My good friend, Sam (a current Peace Corps volunteer in Paraguay) will be riding his bicycle from Paraguay to the US to raise money for the Paraguayan rain forest. If you've been to Paraguay or other South American countries, you know that illegal logging and other factors are destroying the different forests that used to engulf the land.
After his Peace Corps service ends, Sam will officially be a volunteer for Bird Life International's Paraguayan affiliate, Guyra. With them, and several other non-profit organizations that form the Conservation Alliance in Paraguay, Sam will be looking for donations to contribute to these organizations which purchase land in order to protect it.
We are not looking for money right now, we are looking for either sponsorships or gear donations (bicycle accessories among other things). If you have any ideas or if you can help out in any way, please email me: davegordon83@gmail.com
