Hello all, first post in this section, but I have been told you are a very helpful bunch.
My rear wheel is making weird noises. While pedaling, (when chain is pulling in tension) no noise. but while coasting it sounds like a scraping noise is coming from the hub/cassette area. I have not made the plunge into buying a chain whip and lockring wrench thing yet, but would love to. If it helps it is a 07 fuji roubaix pro with 650 miles on it Alex ALX200 wheels (fairly cheap). I normally clean pretty well and lube chain every few rides.
The more i listen it sounds like something is rubing the cassette area when the cassette is not moveing but the wheel is, is this a common problem, and if so is there a easy solution.
