Having just spent over £80 in one shop on parts for my fixie, I was not best pleased when I had to go another and spend £130 on the bits I couldn't find in the first one (didn't mind that much, it's a great little shop), not to mention walking about a bajillion miles to get to them.
But that's nothing compared to how annoyed I was when I got home and checked my receipts; it was not £130, but £160. Not because I'd bought more than I though I had, or because things are more expensive than they used to be, but because the bugger had charged me twice for a pair of pedals. I'm sure it was an oversight, he's always been very helpful and honest in the past, and I'm sure (I hope) that he'll admit his error when I go back on monday and point it out to him, but it's pretty irritating all the same.
But it wasn't all bad. I now have everything I need to complete my project, except the BB (chainline issues  ), brake cable and spokes for the back wheel (rim hasn't arrived yet). Just gotta paint the frame and build her up :)
