BMX - Help with my sproket please!

I did post this in the bicycle maintanence bit, but i think cause it's a bmx you guys might be more helpful,...
I have a 40 ish toothe chain ring/sproket on my bike... i've got a 30 something tooth i wanna put on, how would i go about taking my old sproket off??? it's a 3 piece crank too... ive got some pictures here...

is there like a threaded cone washer on the back side of it?

its a bunk unsealed set so you have to take the spindle right out, there should be a cone nut or something resting up against the sprocket you just unthread it and slide the sprocket off the non drive side.

Yeah I thought it was that simple too, but the factory put that cone washer on so freaking tight it was ridiculous. I eventually got it though.

i had the same thing when i got rid of my stock parts.

AHH, okay, you guys are much more helpful that all the others people here, ill try it tonight or tomorow!
The people in the mechanics forum don't see a lot of BMXs, and for some reason BMX parts are never compatible with anything else
