Anyone have issues with the chain stay sensor bar on the Cateye V3?
When I bought my bike in april, I grabbed it because it's completely wireless speed, cadence, and HR. Then about 2 months ago I was riding and I heard something fall off. I look at my display and all I have is heart rate. Turns out the sensor bar had fallen off the mount, leaving only the base part that zip ties to the stay.
Has anyone heard of this problem? I've talked to the LBS that sold it to me and they're desperately trying to find the part, but their warehouse doesn't have it in stock (was supposed to be in stock on 6/23), and they can't seem to get a hold of anyone at Cateye who knows anything.
The rumor I hear from the LBS is that they're redesigning the mount or something because this is a common problem.
I'm kind of pissed because it cost me $150. I've been doing a few time trials and a race with only heart rate, which doesn't work so well when you're as inexperienced at racing as me. I'm to the point where I want to call cateye myself.
