I finally took the Walmart Varsity out on the road with traffic today. I went for a short 2 mile loop to test it out. My first two test rides over the weekend didn't go so well due to the cheap walmart tubes and lack of rim tape. Atleast changing the second tube only took about half the amount of time as the first.
That ride made me realize just how out of shape I am now lol. My legs were like jello when I finished (There were quite a few hills in that 2 miles lol)
My average was 18mph but I hit 24 on a downhill, must admit I was a bit nervous at those speeds on a Walmart bike but it handled quite well. I just need to tweek the shifting a bit, its not as smooth as I would like.
