minus the pegs my bike is still a lil heavy for my 135lbs self so where can I shead some lbs its a stock mosh brass 4 star i think i still wanna keep the front breaks and gryo but would a new fork and new handlebars help? it says it already has the best parts on it (says the guy who sold it) but i was just wondering are there better parts out there by other companys anywho someone out there is smarter bout this stuff so hook me out halla

There are alot of better parts out there. You could probably shed some weight on every single part of your bike.

However, you should concentrate less on weight and more on technique.

ok, i don't know if your reading this because this is old but the first thing you can do to shed weight without spending anything is by cutting everything.
First off cut the seapost so it sits just below the top-tube, cut your bars down no less than 22", cut your axels flush to the nut, take off anything plastic, and try to cut your dropouts.
Second you can buy **** that is lighter, like better cranks, aluminum or chromolly, try to get all of your parts chromolly.
A great way that i found to save weight is get sealed bearings on everything (ie. hubs, pedals, headset, cranks)
Another way to save weight is lower your gear ratio, this usaually means buying a cassette.

if you do all this and maybe try riding brakeless then you should have your bike under 30 lbs.

get some milk bars, or something light. thats what i started with besides my wheelset.
