BTW the two things I love about this video which sum up my feelings about climbing:
1) The (albeit tongue in cheek) bravado before the climb "all set, tourmalet should be a doddle"
2) The reality during the climb - the slowly grinding cranks on a background of tarmac slowly inching past filling your field of vision, accompanied by a soundtrack of steady, labored breathing
That's it - right there.
