Hello everyone
I have on official jersey signed by the entire squad who took part in the World Championships in Manchester and am thinking of selling it.
I have no idea how much something like this would sell for, any ideas, any possible buyers?
I is not framed at all but is in mint condition
Cheers:thumb:

Probably the cost of the jersey + a couple of quid. Selling such a specialized, fringe sport item isn't exactly a hot market.

You're probably better off advertising on UK specific cycling and sports forums for a at least a month, then put it on e-bay (with a high reserve) for the maximum amount of time possible and redouble your advertising efforts. If you got signatures from the full pusuit team, individual pursuit winner, women's sprint winner, wiggins/cavendish and hoy then that's a relatively valuable jersey i.m.o.
Good luck selling it but it will be probably be more valuable in 25-30 years time especially if it turns out to be a rare collection of signatures.
Put it on ebay, what ever it sells for is what it's worth.

Prior to the worlds unsigned GB team jerseys were going for approx £40 - £50, the week following the worlds I saw one go for £120 on ebay  Don't forget the jerseys are only given to GB squad members and not sold to joe public. The arguement is apparently that it builds team spirit and moral in the team, all squad riders have to wear it when training. :)

GB = 8 Gold medals. Poms = 3 Gold medals
Hoy is Scottish, hence is not a pom (English). -3
Nicole Cook is Welsh - 1
Brad Wiggins is half Aussie, so you can only count him as one gold -1
That equals only 3 Gold medals:p
