Which is the better frame? What are some of the differences? Does anyone know which one weighs less?

2004 Specialized Hard Rock Comp
2003 Jamis Komodo

I own the Hard Rock now, but I'm thinking about upgrading the frame to the Komodo.

Whichever one is more comfortable to ride!

Or, whichever one has a the color you like!

Personally, I'd go for the Jamis.

Komodo is lighter and just as strong. It depends on what kind of riding you want to do with it. If you wanted a lighter XC bike, go with an older (2000-2001) Komodo, if you were planning on a beefier trail bike, go with a new Komodo. The Hardrock is a decent frame, but its crap compared to a Komodo.

cool, i went ahead and bought the Komodo. It's a 2003 and I read that they are beefier than the previous ones
