i bought a komodo frame to replace my 04 hard rock comp disc frame. everything ive read says the 03 komodo was designed for a 130mm travel fork, but the fork i have now is an MZ comp with 100mm travel. does this matter? is it going to affect the geometry of the bike so much that i should look into getting a different fork?
edit: i forgot to mention that i will be using this bike for aggressive XC

It might...whats the word..."unslacken" your headtube angle? I'm not sure what it would do to your geometry, I'd think you'd be fine though. The newer Komodo's are designed for aggro XC while the older ones were purebred race steeds...But yeah, I think you'll be fine.

Yeah, I saw a 2000 Komodo on eBay that I almost bid on...It was only a campus commuter, would've made a sweet XC bike.
