Classic & Vintage - Looking for info on: Biemmezeta

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I've got a biemmezeta road bike I got at an auction and have been unable to find any info on the compay. I assume that it is (was?) an Italian company. Campy groupo Athena I believe. Super short wheel base and some unique features. Any info? I would love to know anything about the company whatso ever. Cheers,
Josh.
Italian company around Padova Italy.
Not very well known in US. Made some interesting
bikes including road bikes with wishbone seatstay,
in the 80's they were big into Aero bikes with lots of
custom tubing (columbus of course).
For a while Biemmezeta made bikes for PaloAlto out of
california, usually had BMZ stamped on bottom bracket.
They did a very nice paint job (unusual for italian steel)
a very deep Red over chrome.
I think there are pics here:

Hey cheers that is the most info I've been able to get to date! Interesting bikes is right, the seat stays on mine are actually a front fork welded (brazed?) in there.

Josh,
That would be the "wishbone" design, and yes it does look like a
front fork, as far as I recall its not.

Though it may not be a front fork the design is identical to the fork on my bike check it out. I think their designer was having a laugh:)
First shot is the front fork crown, next is the seat stay crown, third is front fork, and last is seat stay again.
