Sounds like most are doing well. I was doing great until the cold 3 day weekend, I got some decent rides in but cold + a hard ride makes me HUNGRY! I should be back on track now. Keep it up peoples....

After this coming saturday I'm off work for 6 days, I do have some big rides in the works but hope I can stay away from Sonic and ice cream for those 6 days. It will be a struggle but the way we are doing it is good, reporting every 2 weeks gives you a chance to almost bail and still have time to come back to your senses before the next report.

On 1/5 I was 220.

This morning I'm 214.

I may slow this down a bit, since I'm down 29 since 11/30/03. Going faster than expected.

251.5, down 4.5 from January 5. Hope everybody can keep up the hard work. Has anyone found any easy method to weight loss yet?

I hate to be the "bad" kid on the block. But I ONLY gained 1 pound. But....I am really encouraged by seeing what you all have done. Today is the second day that I have taken some sort of responsibility for my eating. Congratulations Losers!

I got down to 259 which was my pre-Holiday weight. I've been hovering around that mark for the last week or so. Need to get back on track!

(Still happy I'm down to 259!)

I just keep riding! As much as I can! Commuting to/from work. Did 25 miles on Monday since I had the day off. It was great! Also my longest ride to date.
Also switching dinner menus around to more vegi and chicken oriented meals.
I also increased my breakfast size adding some fruit.

The secret is rewards. After I weighed myself Tuesday, I was so happy I treated myself to a harder stairmaster workout.

now im down to 249 (mostly water i think) and im on a lowered carb diet. My energy level seems fine and im losing weight pretty fast. 30g carbs a day, 40 minutes on the trainer 5 times a week, basketball, and high rep low weight weight lifting.

i'll be at my target of 200 by the summer I hope.

Too bad I have the teenager metabolism advantage but awhile back I weighed 238(6'4). Now I weigh an even 220. Not bad for off season. Oddly enough I actually lost weight over the holidays. Must have been the gross tofurkey.
