I Have a 1984 schwinn Voyageur, It has 27 inch wheels. I was thinking about changing to 650b's with some big fat tires. can I use paul racer brakes to solve the brake reach problem. Would this work? Is it even a good Idea?

Also are there any other companies that sells this style brake?

i'm glad you brought this up - i recieved a voyageur recently and was thinking of doing the same thing. i would use the tektro long reach brakes over the paul racers b/c they're much cheaper (the paul racers are worth more than the voyageur) and the tektro have a non-recessed mounting bolt.

here they are

i'll be eagerly awaiting folks responses to this
