Hey everyone so im kind of getting annoyed with the soma business corp or whatever they are.
I asked my local bike shop to order me a soma rush frame and they said it would be in a while ago but it still is not in. My bike shop today said they are a bunch of old people and are normally slow. I sold my bike July 7th for 100 dollars more than I paid for it but was still sad to see it go. I was supposed to get the Rush on the 12th and I already have every part.
its still not here and it might take 1-infinite weeks because it takes a while to ship and its not even on their in stock list yet
is the rush even worth it?
I know its light and it looks good but i wanna know your opinions i have never ridden one.
im obviously missing my bike so much right now im getting kinda mad at them
thanks in advance

I have a white '08. It's worth it. Damn good tubing and construction for around 435 frame and fork.

Soma Rush is very nice.
i like mine. built up kind of light. rides real nice. thinking about maybe getting a shorter stem but it feels alright. overall it feels like a better ride than the mercier i had before it.
I enjoy mine quite a lot.
And you're sure the shop actually ordered it, and didn't put your deposit towards their light bill or beer budget?

Do you know if your shop called up merrysales to order your frame? Cause their website usually isnt accurate to what they have in stock and ordering over the phone is a lot more efficient and easier.

Yeah my bike shop called them a couple of times. They are sold out of the 08 rush.
From what I am hearing though this frame is worth the wait.
If anyone has one and doesnt like It I would like to hear their input as well.
thanks everyone.

"... abort mission." :)
I'd wait. I really like the Delancie, too.
I have two, both with 631 Reynolds. i would appreciate if soma could leave their frames without decals( they are ugly).

ive been riding one for almost two years now. ive been doored and knocked off by a garbage truck. the frame is still great. id totally consider getting another one. i need the next size up so the next frame i get will be either a bareknuckle or another rush.

I read that the decals are easily removed?

the only stickers I could remove were on the downtube and toptube. the horrible tribal logos on the headtube and seattube are under the clearcoat.

the downtube and toptube stickers come off easily
I love my Soma rush. The frame is good and I like this bike a lot.
I ordered it form a shop here in Montreal and It took less than 2 weeks to get the frame and the whole bike setup.
Pretty good.
