Hello all,
I am a new member here on the forum and am a relative newbie to the biking world in general... I have however been lurking for sometime now and with the help of many here, finally decided to pull the trigger on a new 08' Jamis Aurora. I really love the bike and am now in the process of "accessorizing" it. I have installed the DiNotte 200L and 140L head and tail lights and can't say enough about them... However, I am having a hell of a time with my new CatEye V2C computer!!
I have tried everything possible but I can't get the head unit and speed/cadence sensor unit to remain synchronized with each other. I have followed the setup routine and even replaced both batteries and am still having issues. I am able to run through the routine and initialize the two units with each other and everything will work fine until I stop and the head unit goes into the power saving mode... Then when I return, and "awaken" the head unit, it goes stupid on me and requires another sensor ID setup routine again!
I was hoping that this particular unit would be more reliable, but I guess wireless, reliable, and CycloComputer don't really go together... Any advice or info. would be appreciated as I haven't yet determined if I will bail on this product entirely or just return it for a replacement.
Thanks, Ken
