Foo - What I did good in 2004 #4.

In my on going quest: Last week I called the city to report missing signs, actually, missing bike lane signs. In speaking with the city representative, I gave him a load of information. He will be out by the end of the week to cite it, and in about two weeks, there will be signs in place. I also spoke with a traffic rep who will work on getting some officers out one morning to warn motorist about driving in the bike lane: What did I do good? I asked the traffic rep to wait until the new signs are up, as it would only be fair if they could see the lane. He was taken back by the point that I felt they shouldn't come out until the signs were up, and he commented that he'd be sure and come out now because he can see that this "isn't some angry pedal pusher, but someone who want's a balanced approach to the issue.".

I saved a little girl from getting hit with a car last weekend. I guess that would be my best deed for a while.
