I have created a website using 1and1's free hosting service, and domains are $5.99 per year. Free hosting offer runs out in 2 days, so go over to www.1and1.com and get the free hosting before time runs out!

And about my site. I have just made it, and I am adding new categories to the forums. I made sure to include a guestbook visible to all visting the site, and a feedback form that is only visible by me. There is also a java-based chat room there, thought that would be cool to have. Will be adding pics soon. Here's the link:

Nevermind the link, people don't like seeing empty pages once in a 24 hour period.  :( :(

So, what do you think? Any improvements that could be made? Should I take out the Flash intro?

There are some rules that are generally accepted - never put up an "under construction" page. All sites are under construction all the time, so leaving this lying around is a sure sign of dorkiness.

Flash is ok - but frankly I ALWAYS bypass it, so it is really a waste of your time.

As fart as I can see, your site is completely empty. Why put it up??? Simply saying that something might (or might not) appear in the future is meaningless and a great waste of people't time.

Don't get me wrong - it is good to have a go, but please resist the urge to put up endless empty pages.

Chat room page needs touching up, 2 mistakes I just realized. Anything else?

I will take off the flash intro. And about putting up an empty site, this site little content was created about 5 hours ago. Not much time to do much anything. I will be adding everything else tommorow. The empty places are for myself to see where I need filling in. Just kind of a basic outline, and also, it's a lot easier to do all the pages at once, put up "under construction" because of HTML programming reasons. Just my opinion. I don't think I would get much traffic the first day, so I did not see how I would be a mojor waste of people's time.

If you don't want to look at empty pages for one time in a 24 hour period, then you won't have to. I'll put back the address when the site is completed so I won't be "a great waste of people's time"
