Looking to build a lightweight tubular wheelset and I am wondering what is the lightest 700c tubular tire (700x21 or 700x23).
Thanks.

That would be the Tufo elite 110gram tubular. Let us know how long they last.
Conti competition 700x19 about 240 grams
Vittoria Atlanta CS and CL 700x20 195 grams
The all time winner I believe is the
Clement seta Extra at 158 grams
Conti Olympics are 160 grams
I believe these are both 19mm tires
The Tufo's are indeed lighter, not sure of them
due to their non repairable status (other than
their own sealant).

You're gonna ride paper thin tires on Maine roads? You're a braver man than me, Gunga Din.

110 grams... sheesh... that's lighter than some tubes alone!!
