Does anyone know where I can buy a full head to toe lycra suit, I am fed up of wearing jerseys and tights...I just want an all in one solution to go under my winter jacket

You could also look into a cold water diving suite.

What would wearing a diving suite be like? Looks like it might work great for riding. Anyone tried it?

Hey...what about a space suite?

What's a space suit?

I'd feel a bit of a plum wearing a wetsuit on a bike...it's 100 miles to the cost from where i live!!

Thanks, but it seems a bit pricey. Plu I can't seem to find a supply in the UK. Looks like it will do the job though.

Yeah it is. I've been doing a lot of looking around on the net lately for cold weather cycling clothes. I think your best bet is to find a really good set of bib tights, and a heavy duty long sleeve jersy with or without a hood. Then you can layer more clothes under that depending on the temperature. For the top, you can add a undershirt and arm warmers. For the bottom you can had a pair of cycling shorts and leg warmers. Plus your jacket.

The other morning it was below 20F, with windchill that brought it down to about 4F. I had on bib shorts, leg warmers, the triflex (or whatever they call that stuff) tights from Performance, plus the bib tights from Pearl Izumi, an undershirt, armwarmers, a long sleeve jersy with a hood, a wind blocking vest, a heavy duty cycling jacket, neoprene socks, wool socks, cycling shoes with neoprene booties over them, under gloves, and pearl izumi lobster gloves over them. On my head I had a stocking cap, and balaclava, and my helment, plus glasses.

Yeah it took me about 20 mins just to get dressed, but I was warm. :)

I use a Lycra ( warm water ) diving suit as my Base layer. It is thin, I still put on a Pair of long underware then tights and another jersey plus jacket , etc.
but I find it hlps to keep wind snow , etc from finind its way to skin.

and no I'm not a diver. also I got mine off of eBay
