Nothing different to consider other than having both brakes on, correct?

you dont have to buy a fancy fixed hub. you can use any old threaded hub. SS conversions are so easy its rediculous!

yeah I SS'ed my Centurion... it took me about 2 hours start to finish... used an old threaded hub... I am using a 17T cog, and the 11T as the lockring...

I picked up a 16T BMX freewheel, that I may put on, but I need to wait to get a bigger chain.. those teeth are HUGE, and my wimpy 7 speed chain won't fit on there...

I just started to build a SS out of an old Schwinn I have, it was a 5 speed but I took off the cassette and screwed on a used 16t BMX freewheel and got a nice straight chain line.
