Has anyone ever hit something while you had a big load on it? I hit a pole on mine and the whole bike became a whrite off, somehow the back of it got all bent in the force, so I stripped what was good off it and brought it to the bakers, since it weighed alot lol I'll miss that bike, even with the cowcatcher it died, I guess a bike weighing that much comming to a dead stop would end this way, just a warning, extra don't like poles!

Sorry about that Sean. It really sucks cracking one up you built yourself. I killed a bamboo bike I made. Its life was too short.

I've never seen one of those in person, must be neat, but yeah, back to the drawing board lol, I think Xtra2 will be named ApocoXtra, Because it will be pure ownage looking!, even found some Airline rims in the garbag for it, who throws this stuff out.

Sooo sorry about that. I had a few colapses with the "dogbike".Once i had about 20 kmh, the dog, me and four plasticbags of groceryes on it. It is some sort of Brompton system on this bike you see, not totally stiff. I loaded it when in a wrong position and found out later..

I remember thinking "now we are crashing", but we did not. I just continued steering, on some sort of "autopilot". Then I decided that maybe I should brake.. so I did. The whole thing stoppes. Me and the dog dismounted gracefully, and walked the bike home for a repair.:D

Shake it off and build a new one! Learn from it and build a stronger one next time.:thumb:

By the way, this is my first posting on my new laptop, so now you can expect more pix!

I wanna put a big rig steering wheel on the new one lol, but yeah crashing on these aint fun, I slammed into a wall with the side before to, it hurts, I think i'll cage alot of it in, bum bum bum, sorry shopping carts but you have good cage stuff lol I think army color will look good to, that or rust and black, Apocoxtra is what became after a nuke so it has to look right that or checkered black and yellow lol, maybe even caution colors

Think an old Nishiki frame will do the trick? I salvaged the back of mine, it was bent but I fixed it, ideas, give me ideas! I'll try to use them, i'll make a new thread about it.
