Has anyone had any experience with the Gray LifePO4 batteries and seller newly listed on ebay $670 for the 48V 20AH. There is a whole bunch of auctions with gray cased batteries. Any recomendations?

Thanks

I saw them too.

Either they are sadly substandard.....?.....

.... or the word is out, and the manufacture of the LiFePO4 cells has dramatically gotten cheaper due to a real increase in demand and manufacturing capability. I can see the other sellers getting cheaper as well, if this fellow provides a product with good quality and adequate supply.

i would be interested in buying from him, if they came in a dual pack for side rack mounting, and a BMS.

Do they have a BMS? I know he sells with a charger, but I didn't see the BMS part.

I just realized it has a 20a max discharge BMS - my phonix racer would easily trip this one. It does look like the prices maybe starting to lower!

If a Crystalyte 5303 motor takes 1500watts to run at 30mph, then we need a 48v battery with a normal continuous discharge current of 30 amps.

The battery he has, will at 54v, give you at best 810 watts continous, which correlates to only 10mph?

I somehow think the ebike.ca simulator is off on that one. Won't a 5303 go faster using 800w?

Won't a 5303 go faster using 800w?

Probably.

Otherwise....

I mean, my cyclone kit will go 25mph on 450w of power.
