Well,

I have decided I only want one bike that can serve both as ebike and normal bike. For that I am going to put on a hub driven front motor.

I have a fairly new (4 Months old) 500w Cyclone kit. If anyone is interested in it, PM me and we can discuss. Has to be fast though. I am based in Japan and flying home on Monday and can bring it with me so it would be cheap shipping from Toronto. If you like I can keep the battery setup and we can deal just on the motor and controller if you like. I can use the battery for my new motor.

Thanks,

Ray

Is it a brushless double freewheel kit? If you have photos please send them. I am looking for a kit for a bike E that is a mid-drive.

Hi,

When you say double freewheel kit I am not sure what you mean. It has a custom axle, cranks and ring on which there is a bearing that allows it to freewheel. The motor from what I am told is brushless.

It is very similar to this except my battery is the LiPo not the SLA. But again, you may want to use a battery from the US. I can bring over the motor, cables, mounting kit, controller and twist accelerator.

I can get together some pics possibly tomorrow morning. It is late here at the moment.

DC 24V Brushless motor with double 16T freewheel for recumbent bike without change crank set gear system 27 speeds is the kit I need for the bike e. While the kit you have might work the folks at Cyclone told me that the kit was not compatible with the crank shaft diameter on the bike. Here is the link to the page but it appears to be different than the one you have scroll down till you see the title above. Sorry to have bothered you.

No problem. The pic at the very top of the page is the kit I have in the 500w model. The one on the recumbent does look different as well as the 1000w model listed on that same page. The guys at cyclone know best where their kits will and wont work. Hope you find what your looking for.

Electroportal is the one who designed the cyclone kit and he has the E-4 kit which is the one I used for my EbikeE. It is the same kit with the double freewheel, actually a freewheel and a sprague clutch. I am pretty sure he has them in stock.

Really? I had just guessed that electroportal was just a cyclone reseller. :)

RayB, i'm interested in the cyclone kit.
